At the Lakehouse, we pride ourselves on serving dishes made with locally harvested produce. We aim to lower our carbon footprint by using ingredients sourced from Hokkaido.

BREAKFAST MENU

Western breakfast:

  • Cooked local free-range eggs

  • Yogurt and granola

  • Seasonal fruit

  • Tea/ coffee/ juice of your choice

SHABU SHABU/ SUKIYAKI SET

3,300 YEN PER HEAD

Includes:

  • Choice of thinly sliced beef or pork

  • Assorted seasonal vegetables

  • Mushrooms

  • Fresh local tofu

  • Udon noodles

SHABU SHABU is a Japanese nabemono hotpot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables 

boiled in a seaweed based broth and served with dipping sauces

 

SUKIYAKI is a Japanese nabemono hotpot dish, where thinly sliced meat and vegetables 

are simmered in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar and mirin (Japanese rice wine)

 

Shabu-shabu is considered more savoury and less sweet than sukiyaki
